The other week I had to go to the DMV to get our driver’s licence updated & get a new picture taken.

I have to do this process at least once every decade & the time had come up to do so again.

It is a honestly long wait. Which is why I normally dread doing this. However this time it was really not bad, because they had honestly wonderful central air conditioning in there! Usually, the air conditioning or the heating (depending on the time of the year it is when I go in here) is not up to par & it is unquestionably uncomfortable being either too tepid or too cold from the lack of heating or air conditioning, but now things have changed! They really got their act together & have quality heating & A/C in the DMV. Also on top of that, their air quality was a lot better than usual, however usually, it feels love a bowling alley in there. But not anymore. The air quality that came with the quality central heating & A/C plan in the DMV was totally amazing. I am wondering if many they used HEPA air filters for their central heating & A/C plan unit; Finally the time came where it was our turn to get our photo taken so I could get our licence renewal & just get out of there & be on our way home. But I could have stayed a little longer & just taken in the tip quality air conditioning that they happened to now have going on there. It was a real unexpected treat!

I have been working in the heating & A/C corporation as a certified heat & air conditioning component specialist for almost 20 years now, & let me tell you I am seriously burnt out & just plain old bored with both our job & work! I think there are many heating & A/C specialists that have been in the corporation a lot longer than me & love it, but as for me, I guess I chose the wrong work.

When I was a teenager I had the desire to want to be in the heating & A/C corporation & fix heat & air conditioning component units for a living, and i just loved the challenge all together; However, after about the first 16 years I began having a change of heart, but and now at almost 20 in the heat & air conditioning component business, I am ready to honestly wanna call it quits, but day in & afternoon out it is the same thing & I am so bored of it all, and there is only so much joy you can get fixing central heating & A/C units over the years, & now it has reached its splitting point.

I am ready for something else. I guess I am going to quit the heating & A/C corporation unquestionably soon & maybe go take night courses somewhere to get a new work for the next 20 years till I can work up enough work time to be able to retire & collect a pension of some kind. But all I think is this heating & A/C stuff honestly needs to just go all together.

I can remember 1 of the most fun things I like to doed to do when I was growing up was to go to the toy store with my parents at the holiday season to buy toys for other youngsters in the family. It was a wonderful time that I just can not explain in words. It is 1 of those you had to be there as well as lived it sort of thing to totally understand it. I simply do not understand the youths of this week. They are nothing enjoy my generation was growing up. Today’s youth seems to have a lot of attitude as well as undoubtedly little typical sense. For example, I stumbled across some video on the internet of a bunch of high university youngsters taking an old boiling water boiler that was being detachd from a home, as well as go out of their way to make the boiling water boiler explode! Not only was that dangerous, however it was stupid as ever! Anyone that knows anything about boiling water boilers feel that if 1 explodes as well as anyone is in the way, they could get themselves either killed or mamed for life! These youngsters got real blessed that when they made the boiling water boiler explode that none of the debris came as well as hit them. They were outside in a big junk yard maybe has something to do with it. But even so, they could have still got killed or hurt bad. This is the kind of thing I am talking about. Both of us would have never done something as dangerous or dumb as to blow up a boiling water boiler for fun! I do not feel what they even got out of it other than having a so called “cool” video on the internet. But I feel that’s what they are into these afternoons. And I feel it is really not smart. I really still have a boiling water boiler in my home think it or not. But when I decide to finally get rid of it as well as update it with a central heating as well as cooling system, youngsters won’t get their hands on it!

I am just coming back from a multiple week holiday, plus I have to tell you I recognize amazing.

Not only did I get to relax plus see a whole new section of the country, although I also got a new job! This is not what I expected to happen on a trip to a ranch out west.

This is the sort of place that is a fully functional farm plus ranch, with crops plus livestock, but is also a resort destination for people who want to ride horses plus pretend to be cowboys plus cowwomen. I liked it so much I asked the owner if they needed an Heating plus A/C repair tech to work on staff, or if they already had one. It turns out they had a contract with a local Heating plus A/C repair provider, but they were not at all ecstatic with the repair they were getting. The complication was that the owners didn’t recognize there was enough work to require a full time Heating plus A/C tech on staff. Every one of us worked out a little deal, plus I took a numerous month contract to be the Heating plus A/C tech, after which we would see if my services were still needed. This was a important win for me, because I meant I got to keep working as an Heating plus A/C tech plus still be on holiday for numerous full months. This job is not known for excitement. I never wanted a job with excitement, if I wanted thrills I would jump out of a plane. What I want is solid, dependable work that has fixed fourths, so that I could provide for my family plus also spend time with them. I had a workaholic dad who I barely saw, plus I am not repeating that mistake with my own adolescents. For this reason I rarely take after fourths calls unless it is a real emergency, but Last yearI had a real doozy of a call. The road supervisor for a rock band was calling from the road, saying they needed a/c work done on the tour bus, plus they needed it instantly. I agreed to meet them at my Heating plus A/C shop, plus then got dressed plus drove right over. This was a full sized tour bus, plus the a/c plan was greater than that of most houses. It was a great thing I didn’t meet them in my work van, because I needed all the resources my Heating plus A/C shop had to offer. I had no one else to call in to assist me, so one of the roadies handled the tools plus helped me pull pieces out of the disfigured air conditioner. It was a sizable mess, I tell you that, plus the things I found jammed into the HVAC duct I won’t repeat in polite dealer. I went inside to write out a bill, plus it was about four hundred bucks worth of Heating plus A/C parts, when the rock star handed me multiple grand in cash plus said thanks.

It seems deranged now, because of where I live, but there was a time when I was distraught about the cold.

As a kid in the wild northwest, we had blizzards plus the polar vortex to worry about, so the winters were not just a little chilly, they could literally flash-freeze you.

As a teenager I moved down south, I just drove my car until the sunshine got bright enough plus the weather got sizzling enough, plus I stayed down there for good… Ever since then I have never owned a parka or an electric blanket, I can sleep with my windows open, plus I have turned on the heating ever. Every morning I hear people complain about the humidity, plus the 100 degree temps, although I will go for long periods of time without using my a/c, plus just revel in the damp heat. I assume it’s the theory of relativity, right? I am used to relying on a furnace to survive arctic weather, so any morning that my complication is being a little too warm is a great morning. The longer I live here, the more I use my air conditioner, plus the more the high humidity starts to get to me. The more I get used to this place plus forget about my old way of life, the more I will rely on Heating plus A/C systems to keep me comfortable. I just hope the morning never comes where my internal temperature control has shifted so much that I certainly need to turn on the heating system in my apartment.

I met my partner in 1968, when I was coming back from Vietnam plus she was section of a protest to scream at us while getting off the plane, then she was a spitfire, plus I enjoyed her passion. It took a while to win her over, but when she got to assume me she understood I wasn’t some faceless soldier fighting an unjust war, I was just a country boy who wanted to go home. She plus I made a new home together, a most unproper one! I moved onto her marijuana farm, plus studied long distance to earn my Heating plus A/C certification. Back then you didn’t get an authorized certificate, you just got the knowledge of repairing heating plus cooling systems, but back then that was all you needed. If you could fix the air conditioner, then no one was going to ask you for paperwork plus documentation. It was a strange world back then. That changed in the 90s, so I found myself having to take an exam for Heating plus A/C certification although I had been doing the job professionally for over 20 years! With that much hands-on heating plus cooling experience, the exam was still honestly difficult, although I managed to pass. At this point my partner’s folks had passed on, plus since the Heating plus A/C corporation was doing so well she retired from the marijuana farm. She still grew a little for herself, of course, but when it came to money the legal heating plus cooling corporation inspected our bills. Over fifty years together, plus we are still going strong.
