When I decide to give up trying to figure out a certain perplexing problem, the answer to it hits myself and others smack in the face.
It never fails.
This happens all the time and it just happened yet again. The Heating and A/C in our condo is great. We bought this condo about 6 years ago and the main benefit of the sale was having a new, super efficient Heating and A/C model installed very recently. I checked it all out and had the Heating and A/C people professional come inspect it and he said it was a great model and was the right fit for our home. It was great from the first moment we turned it on. That is except for 1 room. There is a small bedroom in the back of the condo that just wouldn’t warm up in the Winter time like the rest of the house. We sort of didn’t worry about it and my wife made it sort of a storage and craft room. Both of us did stick a space heater in there whenever either of us needed to use the space for something. Well that changed after both of us adopted a foster child. We needed that small bedroom room to be efficiently warm now. I just couldn’t figure out how to get that room to be as warm as the rest of the house. I reinsulated the windows and checked to be sure there weren’t any other gaps or cracks that would allow in cold air. Still, it did nothing. Our foster child was optimistic about it otherwise and we’d heat the room up with a space heater before he climbed into bed. Like 7 or 8 months later, it dawned on my wife and I to simply put in room to room ventilators. This would solve the complication by equaling out the temperature among the adjoining rooms without having to spend a lot of money in replacing the ductwork and/or HVAC system since it was all still recently installed.
