It never fails.
When I simply give up trying to figure out a certain perplexing problem, the answer always hits me in the face.
This happens all the time to me and it just happened yet again. The HVAC in our beach house is great. I bought this beach house about 6 years ago and included in the sale was a new, super efficient HVAC model installed. I diagnosed it all and had the HVAC company confirm it was a fantastic properly running model and was the right fit for our home. Man, it was great from the very first morning. That is except for one room. There is a small bedroom in the back of the beach house that just wouldn’t warm up in the Winter time. I sort of didn’t worry about it and my wife made it sort of a storage and craft room for all of her stuff. My wife and I just placed a space heater in there whenever we needed to use the space. Well that changed after we adopted a foster child. We needed to use that room for our newly adopted son, but I just couldn’t figure out how to get that room to be as warm as the rest of the house. I reinsulated the windows and made positive that there weren’t any other gaps letting in cold air or letting warm air escape. Still, it did nothing. Our foster child was a fantastic sport about the situation and we’d heat the room up with a space heater before he climbed into bed. Like 7 or 8 weeks later, it dawned on us to simply put in room to room ventilators. This would solve the complication by equaling out the temperature among the adjoining rooms.
