Upgrading for the season

The heat can be really hard to deal with in this specific southern region.

That’s why I appreciate this time of year the most.

The Winter here is full of sun and nice outside temperatures, unlike in northern areas. I try to spend as much time as I can outside. It’s just so nice to be able to go play golf or go for a hike or a walk and not be soaked in sweat and uncomfortable afterward. So, I try to get the most out of the outside activity as I can during this time of year and accomplish many things. However, I know the weather change is coming. As a matter of fact, the HVAC technician just came out to perform the annual preventive service and tune up. That’s one of those familiar seasonal flags just like March Madness that reminds me the winter season is about to be a memory. But, I am prepared now going into the Summer this year as I’ve made some swings with regard to the Heating and A/C. This summer, I will have a smart temperature control that will be in charge of the Heating and A/C output. It’s something that I had been wanting to do for more than 2 years now. I’m looking forward to now having to worry all the time whether or not I remembered to set the temperature control. It’ll take care of it for me which is super convenient. I also made sure that our air was more healthy this summer. While the Heating and A/C cooling does a fantastic job of balancing the humidity to ensure mold isn’t in the air, I wanted to go a step further. I replaced the Heating and A/C air filters with HEPA type air filters. These things will catch over 99 percent of allergens and other airborne contaminants. So I will have cool, healthy air along with some energy saving this year due to my HVAC in my home.
